Policies and Procedures

We are thankful that you have taken the time to visit our salon. We want to ensure your time spent here is enjoyable and relaxing.  We would like to emphasize our guidelines that will provide a satisfying experience for everyone.

CANCELLATION POLICY

As we continue to grow our business, it is important that all appointments will be reserved with a debit or credit card. The card will not be charged unless an inconvenience, last minute cancellation or a no show has occurred. The cancellation fee will be determined by the service booked.

We understand that circumstances arise; unfortunately, if we are not given the opportunity to fill the appointment slot we must take care of our staff who had initially dedicated that time slot for you.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

It is important to arrive promptly for your appointment. While there is no fee for late arrivals, the length of the appointment may be reduced due to time restraints. Guests arriving 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule, as servicing late clients may inconvenience the lash artists’ next appointment. While we try our best to accommodate you, understand that your appointment may be rescheduled at our discretion. In this event, the cancellation policy will come into effect. 

EYELASH REFILLS

We do not perform refill services on work that was not been done at STAIY SALON. No exceptions. If you currently have lash extensions on, you must have them removed before receiving your first set with us. This is to avoid the risk of mixing different adhesives and materials from work done in other salons. Typically, an eyelash fill is within a 2-3 week period. Your natural eyelashes replenish day by day and has a different cycle. You may lose 1 or 2 eyelashes each day. Lashes will naturally shed, this is a normal occurrence. It is recommended to keep your fills on track with consistent 2-3 week appointment scheduling. If you are unsatisfied with your lash extensions, it is important to contact the salon within 3 days from your initial appointment to correct the issue. If too much time has passed, we may not have the opportunity to correct the service as a fill. 

EYELASH EXTENSION CARE

To protect the longevity of your lash extensions, it is necessary to keep your lashes dry for a full 24-hour period after your lash service. This includes sweating, water, saunas, steam room, makeup wipes and more.  Minimal products are key to lash longevity. We recommend to forgo mascara and any treatments on or around the lashes. When taking off your eye makeup, it important to use “oil free” makeup remover. Products with oil will break down the bond of the extensions. Do not rub your eyes too hard when you clean them. Use a small Q-tip to carefully clean the eyeliner around the eye. Brush your lashes with a clean mascara wand once a day. This will keep the lashes in the right direction and keeps them clean in-between each other. If lash care is neglected, the beauty of your lashes will be compromised.

HAIR EXTENSIONS

For all hair extensions services, we do require to book a 15-30 min. consultation (free of charge) before any hair extension service. Once the hair is ordered, there are no refunds. All pricing for hair extensions and future appointments are discussed during the consultation. Any services done, such as installment and removal of extensions are final.

HAIR REDOS

If you are not satisfied with the services you received at STAIY SALON, please notify the salon within the first 7 days of the initial appointment. We understand you may feel timid; however, we want you to know that it is our priority to make you satisfied. When returning, the initial stylist and owner will assess the hair and move forward with correcting the service at no charge. Please be mindful that the focus of the appointment will be to correct the concern. If a client desires to add more services, it will be their responsibility to pay the difference as if it were a normal service.

CHILDREN

Here at Staiy Salon, we love children; however, we ask that they wait in the lounge area. STAIY SALON uses hot tools with long cords, sharp objects and fragile items that can cause harm not only to the children, but the stylist themselves. 

PRODUCT RETURNS

An emailed receipt dated within 7 days of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges. No refunds of any type will be given. You are able to make an exchange or receive store credit. Electrical merchandise must be in its' original box and in new condition.

RETURN POLICY FOR ELECTRICAL MERCHANDISE

If your electrical item becomes defective within the first 7 days of purchase, you may bring it back in its' original package and with your emailed receipt to be exchanged for the same product and model number. If 7 days have passed and your item becomes defective, you will have to send the item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement at your expense. The warranty is enclosed in the box and should be kept by you for future reference. Additionally, if your electrical item is unused and in its' original box, you may return it with your emailed receipt within the 7 day return period for store credit that can be used for products or salon services.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

Hair color, hair brushes, make-up brushes, hair accessories, clearance items, gift cards and opened gift sets.

 

 

We reserve the right to evaluate each purchased sale and will determine the right course of action.
