Policies and Procedures

 

We are very thankful you have taken the time to visit our salon. We want to ensure your time spent here is both enjoyable and relaxing.  We would like to emphasize a few guidelines that will ensure a satisfying experience for everyone.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

We cannot express how thankful we are for you! However as we continue to grow our business it is important that all appointments will be reserved with a debit or credit card. The card will not be charged unless an inconvenient, Last Minute Cancellation or a No Show has occurred. The cancellation fee will be determined by the service booked.

(We certainly understand that "life happens" and unforeseen circumstances arise however this Cancellation Policy is not referring to these times.  Unfortunately if we are not given the opportunity to fill the appointment slot we must take care of our staff who had initially dedicated that time slot for you).

 

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Lashes are something that we are very passionate about and we are excited to offer such a quality service. It is important to arrive promptly for your appointment to ensure sufficient time for quality results. While there is no fee for late arrivals, the length of the appointment may be reduced due to time restraints. Guests arriving over 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule, as accommodating late clients may inconvenience the lash artists’ next appointments. While we will try our best to accommodate you, understand that your appointment may be rescheduled at our discretion. In this event, the cancellation/rescheduling policy will come into effect.

 

EYELASH REFILLS

We do not perform refill services on work that was not done at STAIY SALON. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you currently have lash extensions on, you must get them removed before receiving your first new set with us. This is to avoid the risk of mixing different adhesives and materials from work done in other salons. Generally a Eyelash Fill is within a 2-3 week period. Your natural eyelashes replenish day by day and each has a different cycle. You may lose 1 or 2 eyelashes each day. This is normal. Lashes will naturally shed (and when you have extensions seem more noticeable and frequent.) It is recommend to keep your fills on track with consistent 2-3 week appointment schedule. If you are unsatisfied with your lash extensions it is important to contact the salon within 3 days from your initial appoint so we may correct the concern. If too much time has passed we may not have the opportunity to fix or treat the service as a fill. 

 

EYELASH EXTENSION CARE

To protect the longevity of your lash extensions it is necessary to keep your lashes dry for a full 24 hour period after your lash service. (This includes sweating, water, saunas, steam room, makeup wipes, etc.)  Minimal products are key to lash longevity. Try to forgo mascara, and any treatments on or around the lashes. If you prefer Mascara STAIY SALON offers one of the only Lash Extension approved mascara’s on the market. When taking off your eye makeup if it important to use “Oil Free.” Anything with oil will break down the bond of the extensions. Don't rub your eyes too hard when you clean them. Use a small Q-tip to carefully clean the eyeliner around the eye. Brush your lashes with a clean mascara wand (provided at each service) once a day. This will keep the lashes in the right direction as well as keeping your lashes clean in-between each other. If lash care is neglected the beauty and longevity of your lashes will be compromised.

 

HAIR REDOS

Let's say you've just been to the salon to get your hair done and it's just not what you expected or had discussed. The first thing to do is to act quickly and notify the salon within the first 7 days of the initial appointment. We understand you may feel timid to return however we want you to know that as stylists it is our priority to make you look and feel your best. When you return the initial stylist and owner will assess the hair and the stylist who first performed the service will move forward with the correcting process at no charge. Please be mindful that the focus of the appointment will be to correct the concern. If a client desires to add more services it will be the client’s responsibility to pay the difference as if it is normal service.

 

LITTLE ONES

First and foremost we cannot emphasize enough how much we love children.  However for our stylists to safely perform the best quality of work while keeping your little ones safe, we ask that children wait in the waiting area. We must not forget that the salon is filled with hot tools, long lengthy chords, sharp, and breakable items. All of which can hurt you, the stylist or little one. If you are receiving any eyelash treatment it may be easier to have someone watch your little one as you will be required to be laying still with your eyes closed for two or so hours.

 

PRODUCT RETURNS

A receipt dated within 7 days of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges. No refunds of any type will be given. You may make an exchange or receive store credit. Electrical merchandise must be in its original box and in new condition. (Please see below for additional rules on returns and exchanges of electrical merchandise).
 
ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: Hair color, hair brushes, make-up brushes, hair accessories, clearance items, gift cards, and opened gift sets.
 
RETURN POLICY FOR ELECTRICAL MERCHANDISE
 
All electrical merchandise is guaranteed to be free from any manufacturing defects for 30 days after purchase. If you electrical item becomes defective within this time period, you may bring it back in its original package and with your original store receipt to be exchanged for the same exact product and model #. After 30 days, you may return your defective product to the manufacturer for repair or replacement at your expense. The manufacturer's information is enclosed in the box and should be kept by you for future reference. Please be advised that if your electrical appliance shows excessive wear that could not reasonable occur within a 30 day period of use, your request to exchange or return the item will be denied. Additionally, if your electrical item is unused and in its original box, you may return it with your original receipt within the 7-day return period for store credit. No refunds of any kind will be made.

We reserve the right to evaluate each purchased sale and will determine the right course of action.
